Bakery · Demo concept
Juniper Bakehouse
Move the bakery from word-of-mouth to online orders.
A soft, crafted storefront with daily menu and pickup ordering kept simple.
Naturally leavened bread
Daily. Baked. Local.
Slow bread and morning pastry from a lone oven on Juniper Street. The flour comes from two hours away — so does the butter.
The bake case
This week's bakes
A starter older than us
Our sourdough began in 2012 and has been fed every single day since. It lives in the back, we bake in the front, and most mornings the case is empty by eleven.
Pickup
Wednesday to Sunday, 7am until gone.
Pre-orders collect at the window. Cash, card, and the loudest 'good morning' you've got.
Miniature site · faked for portfolio purposes only
Direction
How the concept was shaped.
The architecture follows the industry's natural reading order: what the business is, what it offers, why it earns trust, and how to reach it. Every section earns its place.
The visual system — colour, type, spacing, motion — is calibrated to the industry. The site should look like the business feels, not like a website template.
On mobile the same content reflows into a stacked, single-column layout with the same hierarchy. Nothing is squeezed — the phone is a first-class presentation, not a fallback.
Disclosure
This project is a fictional concept created by VANTERRE for portfolio demonstration. The business, brand, and content shown do not represent a real client.
Yours could be the next one.
Every concept starts from the business behind it — industry, customers, and the one thing the site needs to do. Yours gets the same treatment.
